Partnering with the Career Center through the Career Collaborative supports faculty and staff to seamlessly integrate career development into classrooms and student spaces, enhancing students’ readiness for life beyond college. Explore all of the ways the Career Center can support students' career development by bridging the gap between academic learning and professional success utlizing the services and resources below.

As you interact with students in your classroom or who visit you for academic advising, we ask that you keep our resources in mind as a tool that can help students achieve their goals while enrolled and after graduation. We encourage you to explore the rest of our website to see in detail what we can offer. The chart below provides an overview of our career development services. 

1 hour private sessions with a career coach to cover in depth topics such as exploring industries, selecting a major, reviewing career assessment or discussing sensitive topics such as identity issues in the job search process. Appointment required.

15 minute individual sessions to offer general career assistance with topics ranging from resume building to interview preparation. Available almost every day without an appointment. 

45 minute group sessions about specific career-related topics. Topics like 'Interviewing for Introverts' or industry specific resume development provide precision assistance when it is needed in a comfortable group setting with students who have similar concerns. RSVP is recommended to reserve a seat.

Faculty, staff, and student organizations can request the use of space at the Career Center for career-related meetings or small events. To request space, review the policies below, then complete the space Request Form.

Two spaces may be available:

1. Career Classroom - 12 tables, seats 30 people with tables or 50 people without tables. 2 wall-mounted screens with computer and laptop connector.

2. Conference Room - conference table, seats 15 people. 1 wall-mounted screen with computer and laptop connector.

Space reservation policies:

  • Requests for space must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • Space availability is based on other events/meetings/presentations in the space and staff availability.
  • Space is not available before 8 AM or after 8 PM.
  • The person or group requesting the space is responsible for any setup for the event (moving chairs or tables). At the end of the event/meeting, the space should be cleaned/returned to its regular layout.
