Program Manager for Career Readiness Design and Faculty/Staff Engagement
Dr. Suzanne Voigt is a strategic leader advancing UNC Charlotte’s faculty and staff Career Collaborative and driving campus-wide integration of career readiness into the student experience. As Program Manager for Career Readiness Design and Faculty & Staff Engagement in the Career Center, she leads the vision, development, and execution of initiatives that empower faculty and staff to embed career development into curricula and programs.
 

Dr. Voigt oversees a comprehensive portfolio of high-impact trainings and partnerships, including the Career Collaborator Training Program, Career Integration Academy, Departmental Trainings focused on data-informed program design and ROI strategy, and ongoing professional development through the Virtual Learning Series. She also directs classroom engagement efforts—scaling access to career-focused presentations and assignments that equip educators to incorporate career development into their courses. Through this work, Dr. Voigt cultivates a collaborative campus culture where faculty and staff actively connect students to purposeful career pathways, ensuring career readiness is not an add-on, but a shared university commitment.

In addition to her work at the Career Center, Dr. Voigt teaches a career development academic course (GRAD 6320/8320) serving masters and doctorate students through the Center for Life & Learning. Also in 2024, Dr. Voigt partnered with the Education Abroad office to initiate the Career Center's annual study abroad program, which focuses on international career branding and exploration for undergraduate and graduate students - England: Global Career Quest in London. Dr. Voigt is passionate about supporting faculty, staff, students, and alumni through her work at UNC Charlotte and invites individuals to connect with her on LinkedIn and/or through email
