Libertas Chain seeks to revolutionize decentralized communication by developing a use friendly Figma prototype for its messaging platform, built on the Cardano blockchain. The project focuses on creating intuitive interfaces that facilitate seamless wallet integration, messaging, and message exploration. The primary goal is to enhance user experience while emphasizing the platform's core values of privacy, security, and censorship resistance. By designing a visually engaging prototype, learners will apply their classroom knowledge of UI/UX design and blockchain technology. The project will involve creating a cohesive design language that aligns with Libertas Chain's branding and mission. This initiative provides an opportunity for learners to contribute to an innovative platform that prioritizes user autonomy and data protection.
The project deliverables include a comprehensive Figma prototype showcasing the user interface for wallet integration, messaging, and message exploration. Learners will provide detailed design documentation, including user flow diagrams, style guides, and wireframes to ensure consistency and usability. Additionally, a presentation summarizing the design process and key features will be delivered to Libertas Chain for feedback and potential implementation.
White Paper: https://whitepaper.libertasboard.com/
Proposed Plan:
- Team Setup: 2-3 students working on UX/UI design tasks.
- Timeline: Two (2-week) sprints over the 6-week period.
- Focus: Supporting the creation of a clickable prototype for the Libertas Chain website, building on the current design phase.
We’ll be using Azure DevOps, GitHub Projects, or a similar project management tool to track tasks and progress. After each sprint, we’ll hold a sprint review and planning session in person to refine the next steps and gather feedback.
Skills Required:
- UX/UI Design: Figma, Information Architecture, User Flow Design, Wireframe Creation.
- Front-End Knowledge (Optional, but a plus): React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Vue.js.
Work Scope & Opportunities:
- Students may collaborate with the experienced UX/UI designer we’re hiring or work independently on refining the existing design.
- They will not be starting from scratch but rather enhancing or building upon the current prototype.
- Mentoring: I will provide ongoing mentoring throughout the project, guiding them in UX/UI design practices and the blockchain application space.
- Networking: If they’re interested, I can connect them with professionals and startups within the blockchain space to help them explore future opportunities and expand their network. No guaranteed in job placement but I can at least guide them in the startup space even if it is not blockchain.
The project involves developing a prototype for the Witease Music Artist Development Platform, an innovative platform designed to support aspiring musicians in honing their skills and advancing their careers. The platform aims to provide a fun and interactive environment where users can access a variety of tools and resources tailored to artist development.
