Meet Iris, a photo booth designed to capture professional pictures. Come by the Career Center for a photoshoot with Iris and get 3 professional photos in 5 minutes. Perfect to use on your LinkedIn profile, online portfolio, or personal website. Completely free!
What does Iris have to offer?

- An easy-to-use touchscreen interface (or use your phone to navigate)
- Ability to edit photos (edit 1 photo while using Iris; edit all photos online)

- No app downloads or long account sign-up process; just choose a password for your Iris account to access your photos online
How to get your professional photos
- Come by the Career Center (located next to Atkins Library) Mon-Friday between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Check in at our kiosk
- Use Iris to get photos taken
- Click Start then enter your email address
- View the quick tutorial
- View yourself on the screen; adjust the stool and center yourself in the frame
- Take 3 photos (using a 3-second or 6-second times), and retake a photo (optional)
- Choose your favorite photo and edit it using Iris (optional) - adjust brightness, whiten teeth, remove blemishes
- Check for an email from Iris with a link to your photos
- Click the link and choose a password for your Iris account
- Edit and/or download your photos
Any student or alum can use Iris to have professional photos taken. Faculty and staff who want professional pictures should contact University Communications.
Use your photos anywhere you need a professional photo including your LinkedIn account, online portfolio, or website.
You can wear what you like. You might consider the attire that is typical for the field you're going into and what clothing makes you feel comfortable and confident. The background is a light gray color.
You're welcome to use Iris again to have additional pictures taken. There is no limit to the number of times you can use Iris.

No, Iris isn't designed to take photos that meet requirements for U.S. Passport photos. The University's Union Station processes passports and takes passport photos.
No, there is no cost to use Iris, as the costs associated with this service are covered by the Career Center's Employer Partners program.
