Amy Browns

Amy Browns is the Associate Director for Employer Engagement + Experiential Learning, where she oversees strategic employer/university partnerships to provide meaningful opportunities for UNC Charlotte students. Prior to coming to Charlotte, Amy spent 20+ years leading operations, marketing, and storytelling efforts in higher education and the craft beer industry. She taught event planning and marketing at the university level for eight years. An Ohio native, Amy earned her master’s in business/arts administration and her bachelor’s in journalism/public relations from Ohio University. Amy is passionate about dog rescue and arts education. In her free time, she enjoys attending community and arts events, traveling, and spending time with her daughters and spoiled rescue pups.
