Charlotte's Virtual Internship Program

Virtual internships offer students the flexibility to gain real-world experience from anywhere in the world, working with companies and organizations in various industries. Through this program, students can develop key professional skills, build global networks, and explore potential career paths, all while balancing their academic commitments. With no need for travel, virtual internships provide a unique opportunity to enhance your resume and grow your career, making you stand out to future employers. Program Eligibility

This program is intended for those who meet the following criteria

  • Students who have not engaged in an internship during their college journey
  • Students who are currently in their junior/senior year at Charlotte
  • Students who have between 6-10 hours available weekly to participate in this internship experience for 12 weeks during the semester
  • Students must have reliable technology to include internet, computer, etc as this is a fully virtual experience
  • Students must be available and commit to engaging with the internship during the entire semester
Application Procedures

Timeline from application to starting your internship:

  • Interested students will submit their application between Oct 16th - Nov 8th for the screening stage
  • Students selected to continue in the process will be asked to complete a quick virtual interview
  • Decision date is November 15th.
  • Students selected for the program will be invited to develop their profile with our partner Virtual Internships
  • Program participants will be required to attend a prep session with a member of the Career Team
  • Internship program is from January - late April
