Amy Browns

Amy Browns recently joined the Career Center team as the Associate Director for Employer Engagement + Experiential Learning, where she oversees strategic employer/university partnerships to provide meaningful opportunities for UNC Charlotte students. Prior to coming to Charlotte, Amy spent 20+ years leading operations, marketing, programming, and storytelling efforts at the University of Cincinnati, Miami University, Ohio University, and in the craft beer industry. She taught event planning, sales, and marketing at the university level for eight years. An Ohio native, Amy earned her master’s in business/arts administration and her bachelor’s in journalism/public relations from Ohio University. Amy is passionate about dog rescue, arts education, and equal rights. In her free time, she enjoys attending community and arts events, traveling, and spending time with her two daughters and spoiled rescue pups Elphaba, Reese Wrinklespoon (a.k.a Wrinkles), and Rapinoe.
